WORKING FROM HOME
Working from home may be more difficult for some people than working in the office, as many of us in the office spend more time on our personal affairs after work, and after working from home, we continue to work almost until bedtime. In some people, the opposite may be right. Thus, some people have difficulty concentrating when working from home and spend more time on extracurricular activities during working hours. So, what do we need to pay attention to in order to do effective work from home?
Get well dressed
Imagine that you are at work. After finishing your breakfast, you can dress up as if you were going to work during your working hours, sit at the computer, and continue your work. Then you will keep yourself in order and will not feel isolated from work. It will also affect your self-motivation.
When working from home, try to set aside a comfortable and quiet corner in your office or home. You can switch to silent mode during business hours so that messages and alerts from social media applications do not interfere with your work. Remember that your home is already your new office.
Be in active mode
Stay fully online during business hours in the application you use, regularly update your calendar, track the status of the tasks assigned to you, and try to finish quickly. Make your meal at lunchtime.
Take a break
Give yourself a 5-minute break every hour, just like in the office. During this 5-minute break, you can call your loved ones, check your social media accounts, drink tea, or coffee.
Do not isolate yourself from your team
Communicate actively with your regular supervisor and colleagues. Make sure assignments are given and executed. You can even order meals and sweets at home and have an “online group dinner” with your colleagues, just like in the office, to make your online meetings more engaging and impressive.
Dues to seasonal changes, each of our bodies will need natural nutrients and mobility. But how can we make this need entertaining at home?
Accelerate your blood circulation by doing light exercise every 1-2 hours. This will help you not to get tired quickly and, at the same time, improve your mood. During the break, you can listen to your favourite music and even dance. It stimulates us to positive emotions and makes us feel refreshed during the day.
Strengthen your immune system
Eat your meals on time and include immune-boosting foods in your diet. You can prepare seasonal salads and meals with your family members. You can experiment with dishes that you have never eaten or prepared.
In times of temporary hardship, hours seem like days, days seem like weeks. Remember that time has wings, and it flies without expecting anything. The key is to make the most of your time at home. Let’s consider that we no longer go to meetings physically, and we do not waste our time on the road.
Stay in touch with your loved ones
Keep in touch with your relatives, loved ones, and friends who are far away from you, and talk as much as possible. Do not withhold help from the elderly. It is also our moral duty, but it gives us a sense of calm and cares inwardly. The peace and support you give others will have a positive effect on you.
Spend your time productively and relax well—the best self-motivation hobby during off-hours during periods of temporary difficulty. You can spend your free time reading, listening to audiobooks, watching movies you have long wanted to watch but have not been able to manage, painting, or researching areas of interest on the Internet to broaden your horizons.
Continuously improve yourself
Most of us still complain about the lack of time, and we did not continually improve ourselves under the pretext that we lost a lot of time in traffic jams or queues. In fact, time is not short, and we all need to make the most of our time. By staying at home, we can increase our knowledge by participating in online training sessions that we have not been able to plan and implement for a long time. Farsight is one of the technologies that haveresources for improving your knowledge.
Let’s not forget that the protection of our security begins with joint determination. So, let’s don’t expect everything from our employers during the pandemic. We are responsible for managing our time effectively in all situations.
